Cognizance was an experiment I executed in the summer of 2008. For this project, I mapped my perceptual knowledge of a space by labeling an empty studio with Post-it notes. The results of my investigation yielded an installation where the density and implied movement of almost 38,000 yellow pieces of paper alluded to biological formations.
